Новости от Lajos Kollar (лидера Центрально-Европейской экспедиции), которое мы получили вчера вечером:

"Во вторник утром погода резко поменялась. Пошел сильный дождь, и ветер задул сильнее. Все участники нашей экспедиции спустились в базу к 16-00 со всем снаряжением.

Это означает, что наша экспедиция закончена, Zsolt Erхss поднялся на 8250. Выше смогли подняться только казахстанские альпинисты , но пока ничего не известно о том, где они и что с ними. По-видимому, они предприняли штурм и сейчас на спуске уже где-нибудь в лагере 3 или 4. Кажется, у них Турайя, и наверное, она уже 2 дня не работает. Скорее всего они каким-то образом спустятся вниз, хоть сейчас это кажется маловероятным. Поляки сейчас спускаются, правда, их положение все-таки лучше - они ночуют в лагере 2.

Наши портеры приходят 17-го, и на следующий день мы уходим через Конкордию, ледник Vigne, и предположительно пройдем Гондо-Горо 19-го. Надеемся, что, хотя снега и много, но там не лавиноопасно, в противном случае пойдем через Асколе. А это означает задержку на день"

These are the main news Lajos Kollбr (leader of Central european MOL-K2
expedition) sent us yesterday evening:

"The weather by tuesday morning changed a lot. It heavily rained and the
wind started to blow. All the members of the MOL-K2 expedition reached BC at
16:00 with all the equipment.

This ment the end of the expedition for them, with a result of reaching 8250
meters by Zsolt Erхss. Only the team from Kazakhstan made it higher, however
right now there is no information of their exact whereabouts. As far as we
know they might have made a push and on their way back thay could have
reached camp 3 or for 4. They are supposed to have a THURAYA satelite
telephone on them but it's been out of order for 2 days. Though it looks
pretty impossible they must make it down somehow. The Polish are struggling
to make it back, but they are in a whole lot better situation, spending the
night at C2.

As for the MOL-K2 expedition, our sherpas are to arrive on the 17th, and
next day we are good to leave through the Concordia, the Vigne glacier to
underneath the Gondo-Goro, which we are supposed to pass on the 19th.
Hopefully snowfall won't cause avalanche danger, otherwise we have to make a
detour towards Askole. This would mean an extra day delay."
