Registration is now possible for the sixth edition of the Rock Junior, the unique European climbing festival for young climbers and their families, scheduled for Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June 2007 in Arco (Trento, Lake Garda, Italy).
The Rock Master Association invites all children aged 5 - 13 and their families to participate in the sixth edition of the Rock Junior, the traditional European climbing festival which takes place in Italy's Arco (Trento, Lake Garda) on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June 2007 to promote the spirit of climbing and nature to the younger generations.
As usual the VI Rock Junior is packed with things to do. The great open-air Climbing Stadium - the one which for over 20 years has hosted the "legendary" Rock Master climbing competition - will be transformed into a true climbing park for two days of fun and games.
Children will be able to take part in Play & Climb and play on the bouncy castles, suspension bridges and climbing tests which reproduce tree climbing. Accompanied by Mountain Guides children participating in the Climbing Campus will be able explore Arco's nature and rocks. And all children and parents will be able to take part in the fun Kid's Rock and Family Rock competition, where mothers, fathers and children compete in vertical relay races. And the best European Youth Squads will compete in the Under 14 Cup.
Rock Junior is open to all: check in to the website www.rockjunior.info or join us directly on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June 2007.
Maximum safety is guaranteed by the Mountain Guides Friends of Arco, the Mountaineering School Prealpi Trentine, the Mountain Rescue services (SAT and Guardia di Finanza), the Moena Police Alpine Training Force and the SAT Youth Mountaineering section (Accompagnatori di Alpinismo Giovanile della SAT).
