29 August, 2002 Altay: photo

31 July, 2002 The combined team of the Central Army Club of Kazakhstan Republic have finished their short expedition to Peak Lenin (7134m). The goal: speed ascent to Lenin. Denis Urubko reached the summit from the Camp1 for 8 hours 5 minutes and descended back to Camp1 for 4 hours 10 minutes - summary 12 hours 15 minutes! The previous result of the Kazakhs on the Lenin Peak was 14 hours ( 9,5 hours up and 4,5 hours down) Congratulations to Denis!

19 July,2002 The famous Russian high-altitude mountaineer Gleb Sokolov begins his Traverse Pobeda Peak: from Dikij Pass (5300m) he will climb West Summit (6928m) than Main (7439m) and East Summit (7039m)

18 JUly, 2002 All Russia Mountaineering Championship (Rockclimbing class), which took place in Dagestan at Erydag Mount, have finished.

13 July, 2002 The huge avalanche at the Face of Peak Lenin in 13 July 1990 has covered the camp at 5300, where 43 climbers were. Only one was rescued, others were not found... The story by Alexander Odintsov - only on Russian version

The second prizewinner - Krasnoyarsk team, the leader -Khvostenko, the coach - Balezin

The third prizewinner - Irkutsk team, the leader and the coach - Kosoturov

The forth position - the team "Areal" from Uljanovsk, the leader - Kolesnichenko, the coach - Dusharin.
