Baglan Zhunusov: the team'll start to the K2 BC on Wednesday. 28 June, 2003 Nanga Parbat, Broad Peak and K2 Kazakhstan Expedition 2003: Simone returned to the BC from 7000 m - the Mountain wins. 28 June, 2003 "Ukraine - Karakorum 2003" Expedition to Trango Tower and Hidden Peak started to Karakorum. Two teams are going together to Skardu, and than every team will go to their base camps. Hidden Peak team (6 persons from the different Alpin clubs of Ukraine) is led by Vladislav Terzyul, who have summited 12 8000-ers (Shisha Pangma Central including). They are going to climb the new route on the South-West Face of Hidden (to complete Kukuchka route) 27 June, 2003 Two years ago, one of the most Kazakhstan climbers, Andrey Barbashinov, who summited Denali in May 2001, died June 26 in the car accident in USA. He was supported by Boukreev Memorial Fund.
